What is SceneLab?
SceneLab is a performance-based film and leadership academy for teens.
We don’t just teach acting.
We don’t just teach filmmaking.
We develop confident, disciplined young leaders through the powerful process of creating cinematic short films.
At SceneLab, students learn how to:
Speak with confidence
Think creatively under pressure
Communicate clearly
Lead and collaborate on a team
Handle feedback and rejection
Take ownership of their work
Every student rotates through real production roles — actor, director, cinematographer, editor, producer — learning how to both lead and support others.
This isn’t a lecture-style class.
It’s a working set.
Students train like they’re already on set — because that’s how real growth happens.
Over the course of the program, each cohort produces original short films that are screened at a Premiere Night event for families and guests.
The result?
Students walk away with:
Increased confidence
Stronger communication skills
Real leadership experience
Professional-quality film work
A deeper belief in their own potential
SceneLab isn’t just about making movies.
It’s about preparing young people to step into the world with courage.
